We are looking for a EPA Relationship Manager to join our team.


The EPA Relationship Manager is our subject matter expert for all apprenticeship-related activities. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of Kaplans role as the End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) for the solicitor apprenticeship standard. The manager leads the constant improvement of the apprentice candidate journey by maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders including the regulator and training providers.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may be currently working as a EPA Manager who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

You will be a passionate and confident individual with a deep knowledge of the apprenticeship landscape who can act as our subject matter expert. Youll be proactive and organised with an ability to build strong relationships with our key stakeholders.

  • A strong track record of managing third-party relationships and influencing stakeholders.

  • Proven experience of improving customer journeys and providing excellent service.

  • Expert knowledge of the apprenticeship regulatory framework including understanding of key organisations and rules.

  • Operational Excellence: Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Demonstratable proficiency with core digital productivity suites (e.g. Google Workspace) and the ability to quickly learn new software and platforms.

  • A genuine curiosity for and willingness to explore new technologies particularly in the areas of AI and automation.

  • The ability to articulate problems clearly to AI tools (e.g. writing effective prompts) to generate useful outputs and critically evaluate those outputs for accuracy and relevance.

Kaplan is a provider of world-leading professional 2018 we were appointed as the independent assessment organisation for the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) which we then launched in 2021. This exam is now the sole route to qualifying as a Solicitor of England and Wales and will ultimately be taken by upwards of 13000 candidates per year.

Working Arrangements


This role is a hybrid position with approximately 40-60% of your time based in our office and the rest of your time at home.
