The leadership team values accurate well-managed data as an essential tool for raising achievement monitoring progress and informing strategic decisions. The Data Manager works as a central figure in ensuring the smooth running of assessment cycles statutory reporting and data analysis.
The Data Manager will lead all aspects of school data management including maintaining the MIS system overseeing assessment cycles producing detailed reports for senior leaders tracking student progress generating attendance and behaviour analysis and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
Duties include maintaining accurate pupil records supporting teachers with mark entry producing performance dashboards coordinating census returns managing digital timetables and working closely with the SLT to interpret data trends.
The ideal candidate will be analytical meticulous confident with data systems and able to explain data clearly to colleagues at all levels.
Strong experience working in school data management
Excellent IT and MIS system skills (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom/ISAMS)
Strong analytical and reporting abilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and manage complex workflows
Understanding of school assessment and progress systems
Excellent communication skills
