A vacancy will arise for a Sgt (Any Profession) to serve as Training Coord at 600 Sqn RAF Northolt on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 22 June 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status and position being vacated).
Responsibilities to include:
- Assist the Training Manager to develop and maintain a Squadron Management of Trg System and maintaining accurate Sqn personnel training records.
- Assist the Training Manager to manage all Squadron Training activity Ph1 Ph2 Ph3 & Professional Military Development (PMD/CPD). Act as POC for all Sqn liaison with RSW.
- Assist the Training Manager with producing and implementing an annual Force Development (FD) Programme.
- Manage Profession (Branch/Trade) Training & local Induction Training including AT (this includes a requirement to work some weekends iaw the sqn trg programme).
- Assist the Training Manager with managing Holding Flight for Students Awaiting Trade Training (SATTs). Working closely with the Sqn Warrant Officer and Ops PTVR trg ensuring a worthwhile DSAT programme is in place adhering to JSP 822.
- Implement and maintain Defence Trainer Capability requirements including CPD of Sqn Trg staff.
- Support personnel with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpD). Act as Digital Learning Champion.
- Support 22 Trg Gp Audits and take follow up action. Ensure the Sqn is prepared for OFSTED Inspections and 1PA from other agencies.
- Manage the administrative and Training needs of the Sqn SME Flight (Subject Matter Experts).
