Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a motivated career and customer-oriented Test Engineer to join our team in Columbia Maryland. The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Designing developing and implementing test plans test cases and test processes
- Performing User Interface testing against requirements
- Identifying data to be used during testing
- Developing automation tests using Visual Studio (VS Code) and Cypress
- Developing automation tests using Eclipse and Java
- Working in GIT to push/pull automation test scripts
- Experience in testing for accessibility
- Defining test strategies for future capabilities
- Managing project artifacts
- Determining appropriate project methodologies and practices
Basic Qualifications:
- Masters in Math Science Engineering Statistics Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Candidates without Masters Degrees will be considered on a case by case basis.
- Twelve or more years directly related technical experience
- Eight or more years of test engineering experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.
- Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA Confluence)
- Experience with manual testing and with using automated tools (e.g. Cypress Visual Studio Eclipse Java)
- Experience with regression and integration testing (in multiple environments)
