Unit & Position Role
Unit Function | The Integrated Warfare Centres purpose is to optimise and adapt the current integrated force through concepts and warfare development to support UK and NATO joint commanders to achieve operational advantage over adversaries across the continuum of competition. |
Position Role | SO1 International Experimentation will provide J6 and Cyber expertise and act as an SME for EMA matters to deliver Technical SQEP and Coherence to International Experientation events hosted by the IWC. |
Responsibilities (Maximum 150 characters (including spaces) each.)
Act as Lead Planner for a range of International Experimentation activities with NATO Allies and other Partner nations. |
Act as in-house J6 and Cyber SME and EMA technical adviser within the International Experimentation team. |
Liaise with IWC teams and the wider CSOC to develop coherent International Experimentation aims and objectives. |
Engage across CSOC and the Military Commands to ensure that UK MOD stakeholders are appropriately represented in International Experimentation planning and delivery. |
Work with UK Industry through relevant forums to ensure that UK Defence benefits from the appropriate participation of UK companies in International Experimentation events. |
Coordinate Cybersecurity and CIS planning and implementation liaising with relevant NADG DD teams including CyDR as required to ensure that UK participants are prepared for International Experimentation events. |
Work with AH International Experimentation to influence and shape the design of future International Experimentation events to enable successful exploitation by UK Defence. |
BPT to undertake other tasks as directed. |

SO1 International Experimentation can work in a hybrid manner based out of any MOD establishment but must be able to regularly travel to and work from IWC locations in Northwood or Shrivenham as required. Domestic circumstances must allow deployment overseas on International Experimentation events planning conferences and other associated events around the globe for up to 15 weeks per year. |
