Responsibilities
- Joint Staff Officer within J5/7 conduct op-level campaign planning during ops and exercises and provide
maritime SQEP into joint operational design. - Develop the Jt Task Force HQ (JTFHQ) capability through experimentation doctrinal development and
identification of training and educational needs. - SJFHQ Gp (SJFHQ JFHQ JFLogC) Training DLOD Owner; Command Advisor for force dev
operational training (collective and individual) and assurance. - Direct the planning and execution of SJFHQ mission preparation. Act as the SJFHQ Gp lead planner for
- Tier 1-3 exercises and battle staff training.
- Lead organisational learning and development initiatives ensuring continuous improvement through the
capture and exploitation of lessons. - Lead the Alternative Thinking Team (ATT) on operations and exercise.
- Co-ordinate the 2* Commanders Innovation Group (CIG).
Lead and matrix manage the SJFHQ Gps Force Development & Training team (2 x SO1 4 x SO2 1 x
WO).
