Junior AI Engineer (Applied Research)

We are seeking a junior AI Engineer with a hackers mindset someone who thrives on rapid prototyping creative problem-solving and pushing boundaries. Youll be part of our AI research team taking ideas from rough sketches to production-ready systems that deliver real value. 

The ability to communicate complicated concepts in simple ways is vital as you will be working in a cross-functional environment. You will be expected to collaborate with other teams to integrate AI features into existing systems as well as develop new applications. 

Responsibilities

As part of the AI team at Nexthink you will: 

• Prototype fast to prove technical feasibility and value. 
• Transition promising PoCs into scalable reliable AI solutions that solve real-world problems. 
• Stay up to date with the latest AI/ML advances and share knowledge with AI Nexthink community. 
• Communicate complex ideas simply inspiring both technical and non-technical teammates. 

Qualifications :

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field 
• Solid background in statistics and deep understanding of AI/ML. 
• 1-3 years of professional software-engineering experience including internships or projects. 
• Basic experience in integrating AI models or LLMs (e.g. Prompting Evaluation Observability). 
• Hands-on strong programming skills with experience in Python in particular modern ML frameworks (langchain scikit pytorch tensorflow huggingface).  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English (spoken & written).
