NYC Parks is the steward of over 30000 acres of land 14 percent of New York City including more than 5000 individual properties ranging from Coney Island Beach and Central Park to community gardens and Greenstreets. We operate more than 800 athletic fields and nearly 1000 playgrounds 1800 basketball courts 550 tennis courts 67 public pools 51 recreational facilities 15 nature centers 14 golf courses and 14 miles of beaches. We care for 1200 monuments and 23 historic house museums.

Major Responsibilities
-Review weekly timecards entering and checking time and leave data in the Citytime System.
-Check enter and approve pay and leave events. Ensure all required documentation for any leaves is submitted.
-Check reports and perform outreach to employees/supervisors to submit timesheets on time and resolve any discrepancies.
-Sort and distribution employee paychecks.
-Answer employee calls/emails and timely resolve any pay and leave discrepancies.
-Track and follow-up with Boroughs/divisions to ensure all timecards are submitted on time.
-Maintaining the filing system for active and inactive employees.
-Perform all related duties and serve as back-up to timekeepers.

Qualifications :
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to 1 or 2 above. However all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in 1 above.
