AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Case Manager (also known internally as Employment & Community Services Coordinator - ECSC) for our Employment Business Services (EBS) program in Staten Island. The case manager works closely with our pre-employment caseload coordinating and directing services to help participants successfully transition into employment. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service and conducting work readiness lessons while collaborating with the job development team to secure job placements for participants.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm with occasional evenings and weekends required for recruitment events.
Salary: $38000-$42000 per year plus a low-to-no cost comprehensive health benefit package. See Benefit information below.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide guidance and support to job seekers through work readiness lessons one-on-one counseling and group workshops.
Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to coordinate services and connect participants to job opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships with funding sources schools training programs and employers.
Ensure program compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Actively participate in outreach recruitment and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Deliver excellent customer service throughout the employment process.
Qualifications :
- Associates degree required. Bachelors degree preferred.
- 2 years of working with the developmentally disabled population preferred.
- Prior work exposure in teaching or training individuals preferred.
- Experience in workforce development social services or a related field preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with participants families employers funding sources Care Coordinators and other stable holders.
- NYS Drivers License preferred.
