The opportunity:

As an Associate Creative Director you play a central role in shaping the creative direction of the agencys most important work. You lead and inspire teams across projects bringing strategic clarity conceptual rigour and craft excellence to everything we produce.

You collaborate closely with Art Directors Writers Strategists and Client Partners to deliver ideas that are bold beautifully executed and grounded in real-world insight. Whether building out a creative platform leading a pitch or mentoring junior creatives you set the tone for high-quality thinking and a supportive inspiring culture.

You understand the nuances of healthcare and bring creative ambition to every brief always pushing for ideas that connect move and make things happen.

About you:

Youre a creative leader with a passion for big ideas bold thinking and impactful healthcare communication. You understand how to turn strategy into standout creative and how to push boundaries while working within regulatory frameworks.

With experience in both conceptual development and team leadership you bring confidence curiosity and care to every part of the process. Youre skilled at building relationships guiding teams and creating the conditions for work to thrive. Whether youre inspiring others solving creative challenges or steering the room you bring people with you.

What youll bring:

• A science degree or equivalent
• A passion for crafting compelling strategically driven creative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire mentor and guide creative teams
• Proven ability to lead creative development within healthcare or regulated industries
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to engage clients at a senior level
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities without compromising creative quality
• Proactive problem-solving skills and calm under pressure
• Strong understanding of how creative drives brand and business growth
• Awareness of emerging creative trends tools and channels
• Confidence in presenting ideas with clarity insight and persuasion

What well need you to do:

Creativity

• Lead the development of original high-quality ideas across multiple projects and brands
• Guide creative teams in turning insights into impactful concepts copy and design
• Collaborate with Strategists Client Partners and Scientific Directors to ensure ideas are rooted in strong thinking
• Elevate the creative standard through clear direction constructive feedback and inspiration
• Challenge and refine creative briefs to unlock better outcomes
• Identify and develop new creative opportunities within existing accounts and new business
• Bring fresh thinking to how we visualise write and deliver stories in a regulated space
• Use AI tools to enhance creative outputs and encourage innovation within your team

Productivity

• Contribute to and participate in agency goals
• Possess a growth mindset
• Lead the smooth running of creative work across your Business Unit and support the Copy Leadership team with the smooth-running of the wider copy team
• Oversee team resourcing scopes of work and creative planning in collaboration with Operations
• Manage time deadlines and project priorities with clarity and efficiency
• Remain calm under pressure focusing on solutions rather than challenges
• Maintain a high level of quality across deliverables balancing speed with craft
• Act as a trusted contact for Project Managers and department leads to ensure work stays on track
• Have a flexible approach to work and shifting deadlines
• Complete timesheets promptly and ensure your team does the same

Relationships and communication

• Build trusted relationships with clients providing creative leadership thats both inspiring and commercially focused
• Present work with confidence and clarityexplaining rationale addressing feedback and guiding conversations
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment where people feel supported and empowered
• Mentor junior creatives and support their growth through coaching feedback and encouragement
• Partner with other department leads to bring cohesion and energy to the creative process
• Act as an ambassador for DDB Remedy embodying our Four Freedoms (Freedom from Fear Freedom to Fail Freedom from Chaos Freedom to Be) and helping shape a culture where creativity can thrive
