Job Summary

The role focuses on oversight of portfolio assets in M&M. The position drives strategic supervision performance management and structured engagement with portfolio leadership teams. Core responsibilities include review of operational and financial results assessment of value-creation plans direct interaction with shareholders and active participation in board work. The role carries a clear strategic mandate including shaping long-term direction setting priorities for portfolio growth and guiding key decisions.

The role also includes full leadership of M&A deals (20%). This includes ownership of the transaction agenda assessment of investment logic direction of key workstreams and hands-on support through closing and integration.

Key Responsibilities
Oversight of M&M portfolio companies and their performance
Strategic planning and long-term value programs
Review of capital plans budgets and financial results
Evaluation of production cost and risk indicators
Preparation of reports and presentations for senior stakeholders
Leading M&A deals
Coordination of due diligence workstreams
Support of integration processes for newly acquired assets

Requirements
Higher education MBA is a plus
810 years of relevant experience in M&M
Strong advantage: experience in gold silver steel or coal
Background in senior roles in investment corporate development strategy or finance
Strong strategic financial and analytical skills
Location Astana or readiness to relocate
