Applications are invited for appointment as IT Officer / IT Technician (holding the functional title of Assistant IT Manager / IT System Specialist) in the Sau Po Centre on Ageing within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 534533) to commence as soon as possible on a less than 2-year temporary term basis with University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
The Sau Po Centre on Ageing at HKU is dedicated to advancing research in the field of ageing and caregiving aiming to become a leading research centre on gerontology in Greater China and the Asia Pacific region. Information about the Centre can be obtained at are looking for a highly dynamic and proactive IT professional who excels in project management execution and quality assurance with a solid background on vender management. Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science Information Technology or other related disciplines at least 5 years relevant work experience in managing vendor for IT system development enhancement and maintenance and handling stakeholder engagement. Relevant experience in community projects is should also be a good team leader with strong sense of responsibility effective communication analytical and problem solving skills and willingness to learn. Proficiency in English and Chinese (including Cantonese) is required. Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as IT Technician.
