On behalf of our client a well-established hotel located in St. Julians we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Housekeeping Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day housekeeping operations ensuring top-tier cleanliness guest satisfaction and team efficiency within a busy and dynamic hospitality environment.
Only candidates currently residing in Malta will be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across guest rooms and public areas.

Lead and motivate housekeeping staff; provide training supervision and performance evaluations.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met.

Oversee inventory control for cleaning supplies and linens; coordinate with suppliers as needed.
-
Prepare and manage staff rosters ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
-
Collaborate with front office and maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests and resolve room status issues.

Enforce health safety and hygiene regulations in compliance with hotel policies and local legislation.

Respond to and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain accurate documentation including logs checklists and incident reports.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role preferably within a hotel setting.

Strong leadership communication and team management skills.
-
High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

Good command of English; knowledge of Maltese or other languages is an asset.

Familiarity with cleaning procedures chemicals and health & safety guidelines.

Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
Must be currently residing in Malta.
