Job Summary
Finance Controller
Onsite or Hybrid Pasig City Metro Manila Full-time
Sodarizer is looking for a Finance Controller to be the trusted financial partner to the founders. This role owns financial reporting cashflow analysis and supports leadership in making smart data-driven decisions about growth and profitability.
What youll do
- Lead financial reporting and management reports giving leadership clear visibility on performance.
- Monitor and forecast cashflow highlight risks and opportunities and help plan for healthy working capital.
- Oversee budgeting cost control and expense analysis to support profitability and disciplined spending.
- Supervise payroll at a control level and work closely with the internal bookkeeper.
- Coordinate with the external accounting team on tax and government compliance.
- Handle month-end and management reporting creating dashboards and summaries founders can act on.
- Act as a financial gatekeeperraising flags asking hard questions and guiding where to invest or pull back.
What were looking for
- Hands-on experience in financial reporting cashflow forecasting budgeting and cost/expense analysis for small to medium-sized companies.
- Experience managing or coordinating with bookkeepers and external accountants for tax and compliance.
- Comfortable operating close to founders or senior leadership in an SME ideally in ecommerce retail or food & beverage.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with the ability to build clear decision-ready reports and summaries.
- High attention to detail and the ability to tell the story behind the numbers in simple clear language.
- Able to explain financial concepts to non-finance leaders and give practical recommendations not just data.
CPA or similar qualification plus experience in fast-growing or founder-led businesses is a strong advantage but not strictly required.
Work setup salary and benefits
- Arrangement: Onsite or Hybrid.
- Location: Pasig City.
- Level: Mid-level management reporting directly to the founders and overseeing an internal bookkeeper and external accounting team.
- Salary range: per month with flexibility upward for exceptional candidates.
