Job Summary
Experienced Veterinary Technician

We are seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician who is confident skilled and passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical abilities excellent communication skills and a desire to grow within a supportive team-oriented environment.
This role is vital to our daily operations and involves advanced clinical tasks direct client interaction and supporting our doctors with efficiency and professionalism.
Duties
- Assist veterinarians during exams medical procedures and surgeries
- Provide skilled animal handling and restraint
- Perform advanced diagnostics including blood draws IV catheter placement radiographs urinalysis fecal tests and lab processing
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical prep and recovery
- Administer medications (oral injectable SQ IM IV as permitted)
- Perform dental prophylaxis (if trained) charting and patient monitoring
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure treatment plans are followed
- Educate clients about medications post-op care nutrition and preventive health
- Maintain cleanliness equipment maintenance and inventory restocking
- Support front desk flow as needed to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
- 2 years of veterinary technician experience required
- Strong proficiency in restraint diagnostics surgery support and patient care
- Ability to monitor anesthesia safely and confidently
- Excellent communication and client-education skills
- Familiarity with veterinary practice software and standard medical equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Positive team attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to delivering compassionate high-quality medical care
- Credentialed technicians (CVT RVT LVT) encouraged to apply
Pay & Benefits
Pay: $20-$25 per hour based on experience and skill level
