Role: Director - Fundraising Bangalore

About the role:

The Fundraising Director will lead and grow our resource mobilization efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability and scaling of our programs. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking expertise in fundraising and a deep commitment to education and equity.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a multi-channel fundraising strategy set annual targets and represent the organization to key stakeholders and partners.
Donor Engagement: Cultivate and steward relationships with CSR partners foundations individual donors and HNIs while building a strong pipeline of prospects.
Proposal & Communication Oversight: Oversee the creation of high-quality grant proposals pitch decks and donor reports in collaboration with program and M&E teams.
Team Management: Build mentor and manage a motivated fundraising team with clear goals and accountability structures.
Systems & Operations: Ensure the effective use of CRM tools to track donor data and establish efficient internal processes for fundraising operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: 1012 years of experience in fundraising business development or partnerships ideally within the development sector or a corporate fundraising background.
Knowledge: A strong understanding of the funding landscape including CSR philanthropic foundations and individual giving.
Core Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Values: A deep belief in the power of equity inclusion and holistic education.

Bonus Points For:

Experience in scaling fundraising for growing organizations.
Familiarity with digital or international fundraising campaigns.
Strong existing networks within the CSR or philanthropic ecosystem.
