Job Summary
Self-Direction DSP - Syracuse Area (Job #SSM-OW)
ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite in the Liverpool area for a 9-year-old boy with autism. His family is looking for a dedicated active individual to provide him with support and supervision both at home and in the community.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: supervision at home; accompanying and supporting him during community outings; supporting him with health and safety needs and providing transportation as needed.
We are looking for an individual who is dependable patient enthusiastic and able to work independently. Reliable vehicle and New York State drivers license are required. Background check fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Hours: Up to 12 hours per week.
After-school/evenings and weekends.
Flexible schedule to be agreed upon with the family.
Pay rate: $22.50/hour
