Job Summary
POSITION: Security Guard Manager (Part-Time)
COMPENSATION: NON-EXEMPT HOURLY $45/hourly
REPORTS TO: Community Manager
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to support the safety and security of our student housing community. The Security Officer will maintain a visible presence on the property monitor access conduct routine patrols and respond to incidents in a courteous and timely manner. This role plays a key part in creating a safe respectful and welcoming environment for residents staff and guests.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
â Supervises the security guard on duty
â Responsible for ensuring reports and inspections are completed and sent to the CM
â the Patrol the property regularly to deter unauthorized activity and ensure resident safety
â Monitor building access cameras and security systems
â Enforce community policies and report violations as needed
â Respond to emergencies safety concerns and resident requests for assistance
â Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
â Provide excellent customer service while interacting with residents and visitors
â Communicate effectively with property management and local authorities when necessary
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
â High school diploma or equivalent required
â Prior security or customer service experience preferred
â Strong communication and interpersonal skills
â Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
â Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
â Ability to walk stand and patrol for extended periods

Routine local travel is required to attend training classes client visits or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position. Overnight travel required to attend training property visits and other situations necessary for the accomplishment of special projects that may be assigned from time to time.
