Job Summary

We have an opportunity for an IT 1st Line Technical SupportAnalyst tojoin us tobe responsible fordelivering a high-quality technology support service providing excellent customer service to all employees ofAmplius.

Salary: 31206 peryear

Contract: Permanent full time

Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday 9am 5:15pm)

Location: Hybrid with a weekly presence in our Milton Keynes office

Snapshot of your role

  • Ensure that equipment and systems used to provide IT services meet targets for availability and performance.

  • Apply proven techniques and procedures to the solution of incidents problems and contribute to the design development commissioning decommissioning and maintenance of systems and services.

  • Provide support on all application systems whenrequiredand investigate potential training programme enhancements and develop andmaintainthe knowledge base to reduce the number of training issues logged.

  • Provide telephone portal and email incident reporting support ensuring that wherepossible incidentcalls are dealt with at the first point of contact.

  • Ensure that all documentation and asset records are accuratelymaintainedand that all key changes are communicated to all members of the team.

  • Minimises disruption to users work activities by taking personal responsibility and accountability for work undertaken resolving incidents and carrying out service requestsin a timely manner as well as ensuring planned work is communicated in advance.

Your toolkit for success

  • Experience of working in a customer services environment.

  • Experience of working in an IT department or similar operational support role.

  • Demonstrate a knowledge of key IT support principles.

  • Demonstrate high standard of customer communication skills.

  • Organised and efficient in fast paced environment.

  • Ability to resolve technical issues and communicate in a non-technical language.

  • Strong ICT problem solving skills.
