Position Title: Head Varsity Volleyball Coach
Full-time/Part-time: Part-time
Classification: Exempt
Pay Range: $7000-$9500 (based on experience)
Reports to: Athletic Director
Supervises: Assistant Volleyball Coach(es)

Position Summary
Head Varsity Volleyball Coach for the season beginning August 5th 2026 and ending around November 15th 2026. This position will be responsible for running the Volleyball Program at Presentation which consists of a varsity team a JV team and a Frosh team.
Duties and Specific Responsibilities
- Schedule games scrimmages and practices for the program in partnership with the athletic director
- Coordinate a progressive skill development system with the program with the rest of the volleyball staff
- Teach and enhance fundamental skills and techniques as well as advanced techniques in the sport
- Attend all team practices and games (Mon-Fri afternoons. Some Saturday tournament commitments.)
- Coordinate management of on-site events for all levels with the Athletic Department
- Attend Athletic meetings as required including Coaches meetings league meetings and season parent meetings
- Participate in all regional and sectional playoffs to which the team is entitled
- Report all game results to Athletic Department
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate behavior on the part of athletes at practices games and in transit to and from events
- Abide by all league and CIF-CCS rules and regulations and attend meetings as required
- Prioritize an environment of safety for our student-athletes and provide first aid when required
- Manage and maintain program equipment
- Coordinate season-end awards program
- Attend school functions related to the promotion of Athletic programs (ie: Open House)
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Experience playing competitive volleyball preferred
- Experience coaching volleyball skills and strategies that apply to the skill level of the players high school age-level experience preferred
- Professional dedication to athletic development and expertise in coaching
- Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of players
- CPR/First Aid certification
- CIF - Fundamentals of Coaching Certification required

- Afternoon evening and weekend hours are typical for all coaching roles.
