You: An empathetic credible and inquisitive salesperson with 3-5 years of new business acquisition experience within the research or analytics industry. Knowledge and demonstrable experience of selling to dedicated research and development teams within medium large and enterprise organisations a huge plus.

The Role

Prolific is looking for an Account Executive to drive new customer adoption and growth within our Prolific For Research sales team. This is a new customer acquisition role where you will join an expanding sales and partnerships team and work closely with Customer Success and Growth and Customer Marketing to land and expand in a defined list of target customers. These will primarily be across European and North American-based enterprise and corporate R&D teams though experimentation with other customer segments including Non-Profit and the Public Sector will also be required.

This is a fabulous opportunity to make a huge impact within a well-funded and very well respected scale up driving growth in a key focus market for Prolific. We want you to have a voice help shape our sales messaging and target customer profiles and directly contribute to the success of the sales and partnerships team.

What youll be doing

  • Working alongside a dedicated Prolific for Research growth marketing function you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and closure. This will include new customer acquisition competitor displacement strategies and expansion engagements where Prolific already has a relationship with individual researchers/research teams.
  • Through prospect and client engagements clearly articulating and demonstrating Prolifics value proposition. Where required you will be comfortable working alongside Prolifics partners to accelerate the sales process or help close new opportunities.
  • Strategic account planning and development that leads to consistent target attainment pipeline generation forecast accuracy and outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Securing and nurturing relationships at all levels of client teams from end users to key business decision makers
  • Work cross-functionally with product customer success client services and participant supply teams to ensure customer alignment and satisfaction.

What youll bring

  • A demonstrable record of sales success in a B2B environment. Ideally SaaS or services/agency based.
  • Knowledge of selling to R&D teams and/or research personas (ie UX Research Consumer Insights Consumer Science Research Scientists etc.) within medium to large-sized corporate/enterprise clients.
  • Experience working with usage-based commercial models in a land and expand motion.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to engage at all levels across a global business.
  • Exceptional collaborator highly creative and resourceful.
  • Thrives in a scale-up environment operating with experimental and growth principles in mind.
  • Knowledge of the participant/panel/recruitment market within marketing research - desirable
  • Experience of working within a specialist market research company/agency - desirable
