About The Role
This role supports the business by managing and analyzing account-related activities that impact revenue billing and carrier relationships. The focus is on identifying discrepancies resolving open items and producing accurate reports that help teams make informed decisions. Working closely with operations leadership and client service teams this role plays a key part in keeping account activity accurate timely and running smoothly.
What Youll Do
Manage accounting activities that have a significant impact on revenue accounts receivable premium payables and relationships with carriers and clients
Create and distribute monthly open activity reports to unit leaders
Partner with unit leaders and client service teams to resolve open billing discrepancies
Investigate complex Activities and work with teams to ensure issues are accurately identified and resolved
Collaborate with Centralize Accounting Team to maintain a streamlined and consistent approach to managing Activities across all regions
Assist with advanced premium payments to Facility and other carriers
Provide support to teams on accounting related inquiries including invoicing and accounting activity questions
Identify and notify teams of workflow or process issues
Prepare and send monthly EMT reports highlighting potential issues related to premiums and commissions
Design and deploy EPIC reports for teams including EDoc weekly Accounts Receivable Reports Activity and Expiration reports
Produce ad hoc EPIC reports as required
Qualifications and expertise that pave the way for Success
2 to 5 years of experience in an analytical billing or account focused role with hands on exposure to accounts receivable accounts payable invoicing or billing processes
Proven ability to analyze data identify discrepancies and investigate variances related to financial or billing activities
Experience working with reporting tools and advanced Excel functionalities including Pivot Tables and lookups; EPIC experience is an asset
Strong ability to create clear accurate dashboards and reports that support business decision making
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
A growth mindset with a willingness to learn collaborate and continuously improve processes
Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with leadership
Post secondary education in Analytics Economics Accounting Business or a related field is an asset
Candidates may be asked to complete an attribute based assessment and other skills testing such as Excel or MS Office onsite

The expected salary range for this position is$60000 to $80000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience andworking location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
