Job Description

Were seeking a reliable and skilled Septic Technician to support residential and light commercial service operations. Youll inspect service maintain and troubleshoot septic systems while ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented mechanically inclined and comfortable working independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Perform septic system inspections diagnostics pumping coordination and routine maintenance
Identify system issues including blockages leaks drain field failures and component malfunctions
Document findings accurately using inspection tools checklists and reporting software
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams
Follow safety environmental and regulatory standards at all times
Maintain service vehicles tools and equipment in proper working condition
Coordinate with dispatch and scheduling teams to meet service timelines

Requirements

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in septic systems plumbing wastewater or related mechanical work (preferred)
Applicable local or state certifications or willingness to obtain them
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Physical ability to lift equipment work outdoors and access confined spaces
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset
Basic proficiency with mobile apps or digital reporting tools

Required Skills:

Qualifications & Requirements 2 years of customer service call center or administrative experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment Proficient with CRM systems scheduling software and basic office tools Real estate home services or inspection industry experience is a plus
