Your role at St John of God Health Care
You will participate in the planning development and implementation of Organisational Development initiatives to deliver to the St John of God Health Care strategy and priorities.
You will contribute to and lead projects that drive organisational effectiveness such as a performance development framework behavioural competencies equity diversity and inclusion change management programs succession planning engagement surveys and responses and scholarships.
The Position
Contribute to the content and delivery of Leadership programs and pathways at SJGHC aligned to strategic needs.
Design and deliver contemporary and best practice materials and approaches to learning and organisation development to support the SJGHC vision.
Contribute to standalone leadership and cultural learning modules to build customized/flexible local offerings to support hospitals and group services.
Build strong relationships with learners and the L&D network across hospitals/services sharing resources and optimize a learning outcome for SJGHC.
Contribute to a Performance Management Centre of Excellence to build capability and organizational development.
Contribute to a Performance Development framework (life cycle and key events) to support caregiver and leader involvement and engagement.
Participate in the development and implementation of a behavioural competency model and a 360 degree feedback model and process.
Support strategic workforce planning and resource planning initiatives to deliver to future needs.
Support engagement and the employee lifecycle.
Contribute to the design on boarding/orientation materials for new starters and new leaders.
Participate in the Inclusion Diversity and Equity action planning.
Contribute to change management programs to enable the successful implementation of OD projects.
Provide input to the preparation of educational business case(s) and plans in collaboration with the Learning & Organisational Development Specialist and Group Manager Talent and HR Connect.
Assist with the design and delivery of leadership training programs to develop capability and skills.
Provide assistance / advice / to all caregivers to embed learning and behavioral competency.
Act as brand ambassador for Talent Enablement developing strong relationships with hospitals and services.
Assist with policy and process reviews.
Contribute to the development of a learning culture.
Identify career planning opportunities.
You will have demonstrated prior experience in designing and implementing learning and development initiatives and well-developed presentation and facilitation skills including use of innovative teaching methodologies assessment program evaluation and digital learning strategies.
To succeed you will possess a Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Learning & Development; Human Resources; Organisational Psychology) or demonstrated understanding and working experience in Organisational Development and have well-developed IT skills with a working knowledge of Learning Management Systems course development applications virtual classrooms and collaborative spaces and blended learning strategies and the range of MS Office packages.

Salary $124196 to $137946 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 12% Superannuation
Fixed term fulltime position to December 2026 working 38 hours per week
Based at Perth CBD Kings Square office
40% work form home option
