Job Description:

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Serve as primary statistician and game day athletic communications contact for assigned sports (write press releases conduct interviews assistant with the in-game broadcast production handle in-game statistics etc).
• Work in conjunction with the Assistant Athletic Director and Assistant Director to manage game day staff for assigned sports.
• Assist with special events as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required knowledge skills and abilities

• Strong writing editing computer and oral communication skills.
• Successful candidates will be knowledgeable in Statcrew/NCAA Live Stats Final Cut Adobe Photoshop InDesign & Premier as well as have some knowledge of HTML code.
• Digital photography experience a plus.
• Video editing and statistical software experience preferred.
• Night and weekend work required.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
• At least one year of experience in collegiate athletics communications preferred.
