Job Summary

Director of Cost Reporting & Compliance (Homecare Division)

Lakewood NJ

130-175K

We are seeking a detail-oriented experienced leader to head our internal Cost Reporting Division. This person will be responsible for overseeing all cost report submissions and related regulatory documentation ensuring compliance with New York State Department of Health (DOH) and Medicaid requirements. This is not a finance role though it may collaborate with finance in ensuring accuracy and timelines. The ideal candidate understands the unique demands of LHCSA/CDPAP homecare operations and brings a strategic yet hands-on approach to reporting audits and regulatory follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all cost report preparation and submission for LHCSA/CDPAP entities

  • Build templates processes and systems to streamline compliance reporting

  • Stay current on DOH/Medicaid changes and ensure timely updates to internal workflows

  • Liaise with external accountants and advisors where necessary

  • Oversee document collection across departments (HR payroll billing etc.)

  • Create an internal roadmap to keep the agency proactivenot reactiveon compliance

Ideal Experience

  • experience in NY homecare cost reporting or similar regulated healthcare reporting

  • Deep knowledge of LHCSA/CDPAP regulations and cost structure

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Proven ability to work independently manage deadlines and build systems from scratch

  • Strong spreadsheet/reporting tool proficiency (e.g. Excel Google Sheets)
