Job Summary:

During a hospital stay the Chaplin provides spiritual care and guidance to patients families and staff.

In this role you will coordinate communication between patient/family and community clergy as needed. You will also attend monthly spiritual care meetings.

Within the department you are required to serve as on-call chaplain throughout each month.

REQUIREMENTS

Masters degree in related field or working towards such degree
4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for full time positions 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for part time positions
Candidates with 2 or more years experience as a chaplain within the healthcare field may be considered for contingent roles

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

2 years as a chaplain in a healthcare related field
APC or NACC or equivalent
