Job Summary
What youll do
- Develop and maintain category strategies that deliver cost savings service improvements and innovation.
- Lead sourcing and negotiation activities for high-value contracts.
- Identify and apply value levers such as demand management and supplier collaboration.
- Drive supplier performance improvement through structured SRM and KPI frameworks.
- Partner with stakeholders to align category plans with business needs and strategic goals.
- Embed sustainability and risk management into category strategies.
- Manage a pipeline of sourcing initiatives and oversee contract lifecycle management.
- Conduct benchmarking and market testing to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
- Prepare and present category performance reports to senior leadership.
- Champion supplier-led innovation and educate stakeholders on procurement best practice.
Qualifications :
What were looking for
- Broad category management experience across multiple spend areas ideally Professional Services.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable value and cost optimisation.
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills including risk mitigation.
- Ability to analyse complex data sets and market intelligence to inform decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Familiarity with supplier performance frameworks SRM and sustainability objectives.
- Proficiency with procurement systems and analytics tools.
