We are looking for a Mechanical Lead Engineer (MLE) to join our client a global player in the transportation sector.
- Lead the development and integration of mechanical installations.
- Manage design requirements and ensure compliance for validation and certification.
- Lead the definition of interfaces space allocation and installation part design.
- Supervise design teams and promote collaboration.
- Support initial train assembly reviews and production phases.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the field.
Qualifications :
- BSc/MSc degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Experience or understanding of mechanical engineering applied to railway products
- Knowledge of design requirements validation and certification processes
- Familiarity with interface definition space allocation and installation part design
- OIQ membership is an asset
- Bilingual in French and English. Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset for collaborating with our international partners suppliers colleagues and Quebec French remains the primary working language within our company.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
