Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Test Lead to drive end-to-end testing strategy for large-scale data and enterprise transformation initiatives.

This role is ideal for a strong data-focused QA leader with deep expertise in ETL/pipeline validation data engineering quality assurance and test automation frameworks. You will champion shift-left testing practices and ensure high standards of data integrity compliance and system reliability across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and implement comprehensive test strategies plans and execution frameworks
Embed quality practices throughout the SDLC (shift-left approach)
Architect and enhance scalable test automation frameworks (UI API database)
Oversee ETL and data pipeline testing including:
- CDC validation
- Parquet inspection
- FHIR JSON validation
Define and track QA metrics KPIs and test reporting
Manage test environments and coordinate with stakeholders
Integrate security and accessibility (AODA) testing
Mentor QA team members and lead quality initiatives
Manage defect lifecycle and risk mitigation
Collaborate in Agile ceremonies with cross-functional teams

Must-Have Technical Expertise Data Engineering & QA

Extensive experience with:
- Databricks pipeline testing
- CDC (Change Data Capture) validation
- Parquet file inspection
- FHIR JSON validation
Strong SQL skills (complex joins large dataset validation)
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server Oracle)
Strong understanding of:
- Data warehousing
- Data modeling
- Data governance (data quality lineage integrity compliance)
Automated ETL and pipeline testing using Databricks notebooks
Data profiling and quality assessment

Testing & Tools

Manual and automated testing experience
Selenium or similar automation tools
Azure DevOps test management
Functional testing of large enterprise systems
Integration testing across technologies
AODA accessibility testing
Full SDLC experience
Knowledge of Agile methodologies

Leadership & Communication

Proven experience leading QA teams
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to translate data quality findings into business insights
Experience defining and tracking QA KPIs
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent documentation and reporting skills
