Job Function/Mission
The Commercial Training Manager reporting to the Business Excellence Head is responsible for enhancing the knowledge and skills of the Allergan Aesthetics organization across the country. This role leads the development adaptation and delivery of impactful brand customer engagement and coaching training for all commercial roles. The manager partners closely with stakeholders to design strategic training initiatives and ensures their successful implementation supporting business growth and commercial excellence. Acting as a key driver of a coaching culture the role aligns local learning needs with international standards and processes.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Acts as the training leader for all commercial activities related to facial brands (including Juvederm HArmonyCA and Botox) within the country.
- Analyzes business needs using data and industry insights to make strong recommendations and create tailored training solutions aligned with company objectives.
- Conducts regular field visits to assess strengths and gaps in the field force enabling the development of focused and effective training plans.
- Collaborates with country and cluster stakeholders to build deliver and optimize a comprehensive strategic training plan leveraging resources from the International Training & Capabilities team.
- Successfully implements and adapts international training curricula learner journeys programs and materials supplementing with custom solutions when required.
- Facilitates brand and product knowledge sessions alongside Marketing and Medical Affairs and delivers sales force skill programs with subject matter experts.
- Champions supports and embeds Key Account Management principles across the commercial organization.
- Designs new training initiatives and curricula as needed managing vendor relationships for content development.
- Agrees on desired training outcomes with business partners and establishes robust methods for measuring and evaluating training success applying Kirkpatricks evaluation model to ensure behavior change and business impact.
- Acts as a coach for customer-facing roles and runs ongoing knowledge and skills assessments translating results into actionable development plans with leaders.
- Helps drive organizational change by embedding new training strategies and innovative concepts.
- Collaborates with Medical Affairs and Regulatory to ensure compliance in the approval and adaptation of all training and brand materials.
Oversees the training budget and works closely with the international training team to continually inform and align on global strategies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree required; management experience preferred
- Experience in Medical Aesthetics or a closely related field
- Experience managing vendors and procurement
- 5-10 years experience in the pharma/aesthetics industry with at least 3 years in a training role
- Solid track record in commercial positions (e.g. Representative Key Account Manager Sales Manager) and/or training commercial roles
- Deep familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry healthcare sales and training principles
- Proficiency with CRM systems and remote training platforms; strong IT literacy
- Up-to-date with modern training methodologies instructional design and learning technologies
- Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance
- Basic project and budget management skills
- Proven effectiveness in matrix organizations and at all organizational levels
- Emotional intelligence and impactful communication skills; fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated training delivery facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong influencing negotiating and coaching competencies
