Compensation:

• Competitive starting pay rate $19.72-$22.39

Grinder Repel Operator shift schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Separates and grinds scrap material into the designated scrap bins.

• Operate all aspects of a repel line including start-up shut down changing filters &screens clearing jams etc.

• Checks grinding machine dust collector daily and empties as needed

• Keeps Grinding Room clean and organized for next shift.

• Identifies and differentiates various materials used throughout the plant.

• Lifts heavy objects by hand and cleans work area machines and equipment toassist Extrusion operators.

• Complete necessary paperwork.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read and writein English.
• Must be able to perform basic to intermediate math.(addition subtraction multiplication and division)
• Experience: 6 to 9 months related experience/training; experience preferred notrequired.

Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude; detail oriented; ability to meet project deadlines.

Physical Demand:

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing when required such as safety shoes face masks safety glasses hearing protection hard hat/bump cap hair/beard net and gloves
• Ability to stand walk twist stoop squat kneel crawl bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
• Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job
• Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands shoulders elbows hips knees and ankles
