Position Overview

TheGrinderis responsible for smoothing polishing and finishing metal components to meet quality and production standards. ThisGrinderrole plays an important part in preparing materials for final finishing by removing defects and ensuring clean accurate surfaces.

Required Experience & Skills

Ability to usehand tools and power toolssafely and effectively
Understanding ofgrinding sanding and polishing techniques
Ability to followwritten and verbal instructions
Strongattention to detailand quality standards
Physical stamina to work in amanufacturing environment
Experience in amanufacturing or shop environment preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

TheGrinderrole includes:

Grind sand clean and polish metal parts toremove defects and prepare surfaces
Select and mountgrinding pads and abrasivesaccording to job specifications
Use hand grinders and tools to achievesmooth finished surfaces
Fill cracks and blemishes usingbondo or similar materials
Inspect parts to ensurequality and consistency
Maintain aclean and organized work area
Follow allsafety procedures and company guidelines
Perform additional duties as assigned to support production

Preferred Experience

Previous experience ingrinding finishing or general labor roles
Familiarity withmetal finishing processes and shop environments

Physical Requirements

Ability tostand and perform physical work for extended periods
Frequentlifting bending and repetitive motion
Ability to work in amanufacturing environment with noise and dust
