About the role
This is a Teaching Focused Academic role in Early Childhood Education. Your job will be to work with other members of the Early Childhood team at VU to deliver innovative high quality and exciting Early Childhood courses to students at undergraduate and graduate level. You will also be involved in writing and reviewing units managing teams of sessional staff research and will participate in community engagement projects.
This is a full time continuing Teaching Focused Academic position at a level B $113221 - $134449 or level C $$138695 - $159922 (depending on experience) plus 17% superannuation classification working 36.75 hours per week.
About the person
The preferred person will be highly qualified and passionate academic to join our dynamic team in Early Childhood Education. They will have a teaching qualification in Early Childhood Education a Masters degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field and strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary practices. They will demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills working effectively with diverse groups. The ideal candidate will be creative caring adaptable and a team player with strong technical skills to support teaching and convening duties.
