Job Summary
A high-performing secondary school in Essex is seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Design Technology to lead and develop their DT department. The Role
You will be responsible for leading the Design Technology department across KS3 and KS4 with potential oversight of KS5 depending on provision. The role involves curriculum leadership staff management and strategic development alongside a reduced teaching timetable.
You will drive high standards of teaching and learning oversee assessment and moderation manage departmental resources and budgets and ensure health and safety compliance across workshops. You will also support staff development and contribute to whole-school improvement as a middle leader.
