What youll do
- Develop and implement strategic commercial plans together with the Director Revenue and Director of Brand Marketing to source drive and grow revenue across all segments constantly monitoring results and adjusting strategies and activities to make sure objectives and targets are being met.
- Manage and lead the sales team from recruitment and induction through to team development encouraging a highly proactive and high performing environment that ultimately allows the team to deliver on objectives.
- Ensure close working relationships with Ennismore regional and brand leads for Sales Revenue and Brand as well as fostering strong working relationships with the wider Accor Global Sales Team.
- Provide local market knowledge that helps us stay ahead of the competition.
- Take ownership for pre-opening sales strategies and the sales critical path.
- Collaborate with key teams (e.g. Hotel Operations Brand Revenue Digital Graphics & PR) ensuring key information and insights are shared and strong relationships are built to ensure everyone is effectively working together to drive top line revenue and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts taking the lead on rate negotiations and account management activities whilst ensuring we maximise our market share.
- Both guest and team experience will be at the heart of all you do. You will lead from the front and your presence in the business will be felt by the team and guests alike.
Qualifications :
What were looking for
- Strong sales experience with local and/or international experience in a similar role preferably within a luxury and/or lifestyle environment.
- Youll ideally have previous pre-opening experience.
- Deep understanding of the Metro London luxury hotel market and key regional feeder markets.
- Strong understanding of transient segments within the luxury and lifestyle market.
- A balance between a methodical process and results driven approach and flexibility and creativity when it comes to juggling multiple priorities meeting deadlines and finding solutions.
- You are comfortable with the strategic as well as day to day detail.
- You are an excellent relationship builder confident in working with other teams leaders and ownership; youre passionate about what we can achieve together.
- Culturally aware and globally minded able to inspire teams in diverse international environments.
