Role DescriptionAs a Logistics and Trade Compliance Manager you will oversee and manage all trade compliance activities and logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with global import/export regulations implementing effective trade compliance strategies and managing customs procedures. You will also evaluate and optimize the use of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. This is a full-time on-site role based in Union City CA.
Key Responsibilities-
Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export laws and regulations

Manage customs procedures and customs brokerage activities

Develop implement and execute trade compliance strategies

Oversee customs valuation and import compliance processes

Evaluate and optimize the use of Free Trade Agreements to reduce costs

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to trade compliance

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support logistics operations

Demonstrated expertise in customs valuation and import compliance

Strong experience in trade compliance and customs regulations

Knowledge of customs brokerage processes and Free Trade Agreements

Proven ability to manage and execute trade compliance strategies

Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with trade compliance platforms and systems

Bachelors degree in Business Logistics International Trade or a related field

Experience in the technology or optical connectivity industry is a plus
