A fast-growing company in the Software & IT Services sector focused on delivering digital solutions and product-led growth. We partner with B2B customers across technology and professional services to accelerate customer acquisition revenue operations and go-to-market execution. This remote internship (India) is ideal for early-career sellers who want hands-on experience in full-cycle business development and revenue generation.

Primary title (best-performing on LinkedIn): Business Development Intern

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate qualified leads through outbound channels (email phone LinkedIn) and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Research target accounts build lists and personalise outreach to decision-makers in target industries.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities using standard frameworks and route high-potential leads to the sales team.
  • Book demos and meetings for senior BDRs/Account Executives and coordinate pre-demo discovery notes.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records update lead statuses and produce weekly pipeline reports to track progress.
  • Support sales campaigns prepare proposal templates and contribute to continuous improvement of outreach sequences.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Currently based in India with ability to work remotely during business hours.
  • Practical experience with CRM or sales tools (HubSpot or Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting.
  • Hands-on experience executing cold calling and cold emailing campaigns.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to CRM data hygiene.
  • Motivated coachable and target-driven with a growth mindset.

Preferred

  • Previous internship or exposure to B2B SaaS sales or lead generation roles.
  • Basic proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for reporting and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with sales qualification frameworks (e.g. BANT) and outreach automation tools.
