Role:
The Director of Human Resources oversees the development and operations of the HR department to ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations. Their responsibilities encompass strategic planning policy creation and review and managing the HR budget required for staffing equipment and resources. Additionally the HR Director manages timekeeping tasks and staff supervision by offering guidance and training opportunities to the HR team.
Minimum Requirements:
Driving: Must have a valid Kansas drivers license and must be insurable with the Nations insurance carrier.
Experience: Seven years of work experience in Human Resources. Operational knowledge of Human Resources regulations laws and practices. Strong communication interpersonal and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail organizational skills and time management.
Education: Bachelors degree in business Human Resources or related field of study applicable to Human Resources. Must be willing to obtain Tribal Human Resources Professional (THRP) certification or similar HR certification within one year of hire.
