This is an exciting opportunity to join us in Waveney as we strengthen our integration with community health partners. Were looking for a dynamic and experienced Occupational Therapy Lead to take on a pivotal clinical leadership role within Adult Social Care.
In this role youll shape the future of occupational therapy practice across the Waveney locality. Youll champion best practice drive service development and lead a passionate team of occupational therapists (OTs) alongside our Team Managers - all while making a real difference to the lives of the people we support.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Lead and influence OT practice across theWaveneyLocality ensuring consistency quality and innovation.
- Provide clinical supervision and professional guidance to OTs supporting their development and maintaining best practice standards.
- Oversee and respond to demand waiting lists and capacity ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Support audits quality assurance and implement practice changes aligned with evidence-based approaches.
- Work in close partnership with senior cliniciansin health andsocial care teams to deliver holistic person-centred care.
- Engage with OTs across health and social care to develop collaborative projects implement service improvements and promote integration.
- Deliver and oversee specialist assessments and interventions for individuals with complex needs.
- Support the Principal OT and locality leadership in shaping an effective responsive and innovative OT service.

The team
You will provide clinical and leadership support to Occupational Therapists across theWaveneyarea of Suffolk as the organisation transitions to a new operating model and locality-based alliances. You will work closely with the Senior Management Team who oversee operational delivery and will be part of the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams.
