About the role:

BaptistCare is one of Australias largest home care providers and a leader in service quality and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Penrith Blue Mountains and surrounds.

You will deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence mobility and confidence to remain living at home.

About you

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated abilityto assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community
  • Postgraduate experience in aged care rehabilitation or community settings
  • Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
  • Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • Alignment with BaptistCares values and mission
  • Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Unrestricted drivers licence and access to a reliable registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
