About The Job

This role is focused on driving product and solutions in capital equipment sales by engaging customers in the Industrial food and water treatment sectors across the Philippines. The position emphasizes building strong client relationships identifying new business opportunities and delivering tailored solutions that highlight the unique value of Alfa Lavals products and solutions.

Job Description

  • Execute established sales processes and guidelines to effectively promote and sell Alfa Laval products water treatment equipment / heat exchangers / pumps.

  • Analyze market trends and customer buying behaviors to develop targeted sales plans aligned with business division strategies and objectives.

  • Identify manage and nurture leads from both the market and existing customers converting them into tangible business opportunities to maintain a robust sales pipeline.

  • Actively engage with the market through regular customer visits meetings and interactions focusing on understanding customer needs and demonstrating the unique value of Alfa Lavals solutions.

  • Oversee commercial activities by managing the customer grid proactively planning using internal tools and building a strong customer network.

  • Prepare highly competitive and profitable quotations tailored to customer requirements emphasizing unique selling points and diligently follow up to maximize conversion rates.

  • Utilize CRM and other digital tools consistently and effectively to support the sales process and inform decision-making.

  • Work proactively and systematically to optimize sales efficiency and achieve business targets.

What You Know

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical background required.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets; proactive and resourceful in sales management. Demonstrate a hunter mentality with a proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales for industrial machinery with a strong background in the Industrial Food sector and water treatment projects.

  • In-depth understanding of the Industrial Food market and water treatment industry in the Philippines.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within the Philippines to visit customers.

  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
