DescriptionAs a Honeywell Forge AI Architect here at Honeywell you will be responsible for designing and evolving our AI technology landscape for Honeywell Forge products. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for shaping our AI ML architecture roadmap ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and championing the value of AI both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with exceptional communication and mentorship skills.
Collaborating closely with business leaders and technology teams youll align our architecture with strategic business goals and industry best practices. Your insights and expertise will be pivotal in identifying opportunities addressing challenges and ensuring the scalability security and compliance of our AI solutions. You will report directly to Sr. Director Data and AI and youll work out of our Atlanta Georgia location on a Hybrid work schedule. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving innovation addressing complex challenges of Industrial businesses drive innovation through partnerships and maintain the scalability security and compliance of our AI technology landscape. ResponsibilitiesAI/ML Architecture & Strategy
- Define and drive the enterprise-wide AI and ML architecture vision strategy and roadmap aligned towards Honeywell Forge software products and technology organization.
- Keep Honeywell ahead of industry trends and ensure our Honeywell Forge technology stack reflects best-in-class capabilities by driving requirements for AI/ML platforms.
- Define the right AI architecture for products and applications oversee the end to end design and deployment of scalable secure and high-performing AI/ML systems.
- Lead key AI engagement with technology partners bring thought and architecture leadership in a multi-cloud environment for Cloud On-prem and Hybrid AI applications.
Lead Legal & Compliance collaboration for AI applications
- Represent AI technical team for collaboration with legal/compliance stakeholders to support responsible innovation
- Translate complex AI/ML concepts and risks into clear actionable guidance for legal policy making and enable regulatory discussions.
- Partner with legal to ensure software tooling of all AI/ML systems adhere to relevant data privacy ethics risk and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR AI Act NIST AIST standards in AI).
Technical Leadership & Mentorship in AI
- Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight to AI engineering data science and product teams for Honeywell products.
- Conduct architecture reviews for AI Products code/design reviews to provide feedback and evangelize AI knowledge in structured knowledge sharing sessions.
Evangelism & Communication
- Serve as a visible champion for AI & ML initiatives within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Communicate the value and impact of AIML projects to non-technical audiences including senior executives customers and partners.
- Represent the company at conferences industry panels and client briefings as a thought leader in AI & ML.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- 10 or more years of experience in AI engineering data science development roles experience in defining AIML architecture and at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale ML systems LLM based and Agentic AI applications.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks tools and platforms (e.g. Azure ML GCP AWS Databricks) deep understanding of small and large foundational models fine tuning reinforcement learning RAG and agentic applications.
- Strong familiarity with data governance model governance model risk management and emerging AI regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to legal regulatory and executive stakeholders.
- Experience in mentoring and developing diverse technical teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
