Job Summary

TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a fantastic firm of accountants who are looking for an Accounts and Tax Senior to join their team in Sidcup. This accountancy practice boasts a fantastic work-life balance and offers an excellent family-feel working environment. You will work in a general practice capacity across accounts tax bookkeeping VAT and CIS with a primary focus on accounts and tax preparation. You will have the support of a small but experienced team and work in a client-facing capacity. Clients range from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies of varying sizes across a range of sectors. The opportunity offers good progression and technical development opportunities.

Managing a client portfolio including limited companies sole traders partnerships and individuals.
Overseeing and managing all aspects of client service delivery including preparation of year-end accounts management accounts bookkeeping VAT and CIS.
Liaising with clients on accounts and tax issues as required.
Act as the main point of contact for clients keeping them informed of progress and maintaining regular contact with them.
Reviewing work completed by junior team members and resolving all issues prior to submission.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Requirements

Accounts and Tax Senior Sidcup

ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 2-3 years of post-qualification experience or qualified by experience.
Have proven experience of working in a practice environment.
Experience in managing a client portfolio.
Have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Experience in using cloud-based accounting software packages such as Sage Xero and QuickBooks.

Required Skills:

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
