About the client:
Our client is a fast-growing organization operating in a dynamic and performance-driven environment. They are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to support and manage end-to-end human resource operations across the employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for a people-focused professional who can balance operational HR delivery with strategic people initiatives while ensuring full compliance with Kenyan labour laws and best HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job posting sourcing screening interviewing selection and onboarding.
Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop accurate job descriptions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries concerns and grievances.
Facilitate employee relations matters including conflict resolution disciplinary processes and exit management.
Coordinate and administer the organizations performance management framework and support managers through reviews and PIPs.
Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs aligned with business goals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with Kenyan labour laws and internal policies.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including NSSF SHA PAYE and Employment Act provisions.
Support payroll preparation by ensuring accurate employee data changes and benefits information.
Manage leave administration attendance records and benefits communication.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual HR reports dashboards and analytics for management.
Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Support HR budgeting planning and ad-hoc reporting as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Minimum 34 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
Professional HR certification (CHRP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Must be a registered member of IHRM.
Strong knowledge of Kenyan Labour Laws Employment Act and HR best practices.
Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment and employee relations.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
High level of confidentiality integrity and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive self-driven and solutions-oriented mindset.
