JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Virginia NP or PA license required

Board: Applicable national certification for NP or PA

DEA: Active DEA required

Certifications: Emergency medicinerelated certifications per facility standards

Experience: Emergency department experience required

Other Qualifications: Must be willing to work days nights weekends and holidays

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages

Cover emergency department shifts at both facilities as needed

Manage patient flow and clinical decision-making in a Level III Trauma Center

Collaborate with physicians nursing staff and ancillary services

Document all encounters accurately in Meditech EMR
