In this role you will provide expert care for patients with high-risk pregnancies ensuring the best possible outcomes for mothers and their babies. As a vital member of our healthcare team you will collaborate with obstetricians nurses and other medical professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of high-risk pregnancies
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their families throughout their pregnancy journey
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to inform clinical decisions
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in maternal fetal medicine
- Participate in patient education initiatives to promote healthy pregnancy practices
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Experience in managing high-risk pregnancies
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
- Active medical license in the state of Florida
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
Overnight beeper call shifts
Daily Volume: 7 patients
16 antepartum beds
Duties: Ultrasounds consults and antepartum coverage
Support Staff: Attendings fellows residents APPs RNs and MAs
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
