Senior Staff Nurse Oncology

Cambridge Hospital Oncology Permanent Full Time Includes weekend work

Up to 44000.00 depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As you know Oncology nursing is challenging and rewarding and your passion will make all the difference to our cancer patients. Working flexible hours Monday to Friday potential for adhoc weekend/nights depending on patient acuity youll be motivated to provide the highest standard of care.

As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse in our hospital youll be attentive driven detail-oriented and registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC. With post-registration experience youre a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse you will:

  • Have experience in Oncology and have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)

  • Be proficient in phlebotomy cannulation and accessing Central Venous Access Devices

  • Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service

  • Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments such as immunotherapy

  • Fully assess each patients needs providing tailored treatment plans and care

  • Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT)

  • Assist consultants during clinics

  • Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies

  • Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT Team)
