Job Summary
We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Ashby Dental & Implant Clinic in Wetherby.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being are passionate about delivering great service and looking for a career where you can learn grow and develop then this could be a perfect fit for you.
- 40 hours a week 2-year fixed term contract
- Rota pattern - Mon and Tues - 8.15-5.15pm. Weds to Fri - 7.45-4.45pm
- Apprentice rate of pay 12.21 per hour
- Free on-street parking
- Training supported by our highly experienced team - your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex
Ashby Dental & Implant Clinic is a high quality primarily private practice and has been providing dentistry for nearly 50 years. Treatments range from general dentistry with most patients being on an in-house plan some Implants and Invisalign. About you
We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
- Enjoy working as part of a team and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist hygienist or therapist in all procedures
