Job Summary
Job Title: Locum Physician - Radiation Oncology
Join us at a leading cancer care facility in Grand Rapids Michigan!
We are actively seeking a Radiation Oncologist to fill an immediate need at our comprehensive cancer center offering both outpatient and inpatient services. You will work alongside a dedicated team of physicians and advanced practice providers in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform conventional and advanced radiotherapy procedures including SBRT IMRT and external beam radiation techniques.
- Order tests and images as necessary for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Prescribe treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Manage an average patient load of 30-50 outpatients per day and 2-5 inpatients during rounding.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including two other full-time physicians and two physician assistants.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology or Truly Board Eligible (Required).
- Active Michigan Medical License (Required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology or Truly Board Eligible.
- Current and active Michigan medical license.
- BLS Certification.
