Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Radiation Oncology in Grand Rapids MI
The Richard J. Lacks Cancer Center in Grand Rapids Michigan is currently seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist to join their esteemed team. This facility offers a comprehensive cancer care environment and is equipped with advanced technology to provide quality patient care. The successful candidate will work in both outpatient and inpatient settings Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order tests and images as necessary for patient evaluation.
- Prescribe appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a range of radiation therapies including Conventional Radiotherapy 3D Radiotherapy SBRT and IMRT.
- Manage an average of 30-50 outpatient cases per day and 2-5 inpatient cases.
- Collaborate with two other full-time physicians and two APPs on the team.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology or Truly Board Eligible.
- Active Michigan Medical License.
- Current BLS certification.
- Self-Query NPDB report (must be pulled within the month) at time of presentation.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active Michigan Medical License - REQUIRED
- BLS Certification - REQUIRED
- Self-Query NPDB report - REQUIRED
